Glenn Davis

Glenn Davis has worked in the Load Management Industry and specifically in the control sector since 1977. He has gained an excellent reputation for supplying innovative products on time, many of which have now been adopted as industry standards. He has worked closely with and within UL and is thus very familiar with the safety and performance standards associated with these products. He has worked closely with manufacturing operations and has an in depth understanding of both engineering and manufacturing processes. Mr. Davis is viewed by many as a premier expert in load control technology in the United States.

Mr. Davis is the inventor of record for 21 US Patents and through his 30+ career with Scientific Atlanta and was regarded as a “go to” resource solutions for a vide variety of problems.

In his career at Scientific Atlanta, Mr. Davis held multiple senior engineering positions and entered management as VP of Engineering of the Control systems Group (focused on Load Management) with temporary duties of Division President.

Mr. Davis left Scientific Atlanta in 1999 in divestiture of the load control business to Comverge. Mr. Davis was Executive Vice President of worldwide engineering and manufacturing operations for Comverge.

Since leaving Comverge in mid 2002, Mr. Davis has developed a variety of innovative products and ideas in association with EnTek.  Mr. Davis served in the US Air Force as an Avionics specialist, Lockheed Georgia as an Air Nav specialist and Scientific Atlanta as a Sonar Instrumentation specialist prior to entering the Load Management arena in the early1980s.
